facilities in the state, bringing the
game of golf to kids between the ages
of 8 and 18 of all races and economic
backgrounds.

Director of Programming and
Instruction, Courtney Kendrick spent
the fall and winter months in local
schools, promoting the First Tee and
drumming up interest.

COURTNEY KENDRICK/DIRECTOR OF
PROGRAMMING AND INSTRUCTION:

Youngsters have the option of
participating in a 6 week summer camp
or once weekly after school lessons for
6 weeks in the spring or fall. The
First Tee has affected nearly 1
thousand boys and girls in the first 12
months and nearly 30 have completed the
cirriculum.

The program's partnership with
the Scott Robertson Memorial has had a
lot to do with that.

*puttin' on the spritz* at a New York
City fashion show.

Hosted by Richard Simmons, the
show was a promotion for Wishbone's new
line of Salad Spritzers.

Designers used a mix of real food
and plastic replicas on their models.

Highlights included the corny
cowgirl and a hat made of tomatoes.

Proceeds went to America's Second
Harvest -- a hunger-relief charity
organization.

The fashions were designed by one
of the stars of the show Project
