Blacksburg standing on her front porch with her
dachshund, Ruby when her neighbor's
pitbulls showed up and started
attacking. Hogue did not want to talk
on camera, but allowed us to get video
of her dog and see pictures of her
injuries.

Little Ruby is healing now, but at one
point her vet did not think she was
going to make it. Ruby had bites and
scratches along her belly and on her
backside.
Myra Hogue says she and Ruby were on
her front porch when two yellow
pitbulls knocked her on her feet, bit
her and then started attacking the much
smaller dog.
This is what Hogue's arms looked like
after the attack. The Sheriff's office
investigated and two days later animal
control seized the pitbulls. They've
charged the owner, Danielle Sword, with
two counts of having a dangerous dog
and two counts of having a dog at

nearly six years ago.

pulled away from the Norfolk Naval
Station this morning.
It's one of six-ships and a
submarine that left the East Coast this
week to conduct security operations in
support of the war on terrorism.
This is the Cole's second
deployment overseas since being

The ship underwent 250- million
dollars in repairs and was deployed to
the Mediterranean Sea in 2003.

when we were children...

built one like this.
Check this out in Myrtle Beach...
this is being called the Tallest Sand
Castle in the World.
The Castle stands 32 and half feet
tall.. and 60 feet wide.
This is not kid stuff though.. It
took professional sand castle builders
eight days to build. This castle is
three inches taller than the previous
world record.
The giant castle has two dozen
spires and a pair of gargoyles guarding
it.
