The altercation began after this
play.

Witnesses tell News-7 that
Bailey's brother, Chase Preston Bailey,
was in the stands complaining about the
call.

An umpire ordered him out
of the Dedmon Center Softball Field.

As a Radford University police
officer escorted him out of the
stadium, Bailey and her mother
allegedly assaulted the officer.

NATASHA ON CAM NATASHA ON CAM

GRAPHIC=Hold OTS They were arrested and taken to the

New River Valley Regional Jail where
they were charged with felony assault
on a police officer and misdemeanor
resisting arrest. They were then
released.

Chase Bailey was issued a summons
at the stadium for disorderly conduct
and released.

Bailey's father said the family
is very upset at the way the situation
was handled.

"My wife and son were
leaving," L-B Bailey told News-7
tonight, "and all the officer had to do
was let them leave the field."
