The city's pools opened for the
first time of the season today.

The Fallon Park pool began
filling up right as the gates opened
with kids that were ready to blow off
the stress of school with some fun in
the sun.

The pools will remain open
throughout the weekend before the
regular summer schedule begins on
Thursday.

Staff members say parents can
expect new family events this year like
the DIVE-IN movie night in August.

The pool will open late that
night and show Shark Tales on the big
screen as movie goers float in the
pool. (END VO) (END VO)
