Webb says Miller is the

Miller calls Webb a Republican at
heart who is hostile to affirmative
action.

The turnout for tomorrow's
Democratic Senate primary is expected

MAD COW DISEASE IS SHROUDED IN A NEW
MYSTERY TODAY.

RESEARCHERS HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT TWO
PAST CASES OF MAD COW IN TEXAS AND
ALABAMA POSSIBLY CAME FROM A MYSTERIOUS
STRAIN THAT SEEMS TO "SPONTANEOUSLY
APPEAR" IN THE CATTLE.

RESEARCHERS SAY THE TWO U-S CASES ARE
DIFFERENT THAN THE MAD COW EPIDEMIC IN
BRITAIN THAT LED TO THE SLAUGHTER OF
THOUSANDS OF CATTLE.

THE NEW MYSTERY STRAIN HAS ALSO POPPED
UP ABOUT A DOZEN COWS IN FRANCE, ITALY

A NEW STUDY SHOWS THEIR POPULARITY IS

TWO SURVEY S FROM 2003 SUGGESTED JUST
15 PERCENT OF U-S ADULTS HAD TATTOOS.

THE STUDY APPEARS IN THE JOURNAL OF THE

FOR TWO DAYS THE PRESIDENT WILL CONSULT
HIS NATIONAL SECURITY TEAM AND MILITARY

BUT THE BIG QUESTION UNDERLYING THIS

IT COULD START HAPPENING IN THE COMING

backing the so-called "Cowboy Church"
in Moneta.

The Liberty Counsel believes
Bedford County's decision is
unconstitutional.

The county says Garland Simmons'
had violated zoning and safety codes by
hosting the cowboy church inside his
barn

Officials with Liberty Counsel
say it's in conflict with his
constitutional rights of freedom of
assembly and religious practices.

Liberty Counsel representatives
say if Simmons is not allowed to hold
services in the barn, the counsel will
likely file suit against the county.
