building had no time to lose this
morning, when neighbors sounded the
alarm that their home was on fire.

Ten people were displaced, and
tonight investigators are trying to
determine the cause.

neighbors who are thankful none of the
residents lost their lives.

fire damage in an effort to trace the
origin and cuase.... but the heat of
the fire and the extent of the damage
made that a painstaking process.

identified three people who may know
something about the murder of a city
man last weekend.

shot to death inside his home on Early
Street late Sunday night.

Police say at least four people
entered the home armed with handguns,
intent on confronting Poe.

23-year-old Joseph Lee Hamlett.

Both men are wanted on outstanding

Route 460 in Bedford.

Police say 46-year-old Darryl Bruce
Orange threw a Molotov cocktail at a
side window, breaking it and starting a

Investigators hope anyone who
witnessed the incident will call the

students are on a mission, to let folks
in the big apple know there are only a
few bad apples in Roanoke County.

28 students are in New York City over
the next few days trying to make amends
for what many consider was an
embarrassment to the Roanoke Valley.

Last month, three county students
were charged with throwing paint cans
off the roof of a hotel, hitting
several nearby police vehicles.

local homeless shelter.

SPEED Qualifying this afternoon and
Kasey Kahne was the fastest car during
the practice sessions.

Kahne would be the 16th car out
on the track for qualifying and would
lay down a nice lap of 1-hundred and 85
point 6-4-4 miles an hour and he had
the provisional Pole.

He would then sit on pit-lane and
watch Dale Earnhardt Junior take a shot
at the time in an old-school paint
scheme that honors his family on this
Father's Day Weekend. Junior will start
6th.

Jeff Gordon coming off a hard
crash last week at Pocono came the
closest to Kahne but was unable to
catch him. Gordon Starts on the
outside of Row number 1. Kahne wins
his fourth pole of the season. Here's
a look at the top 25.

didn't have birdie on his front 9 and
is at 3 over par after two rounds, four
shots off the pace after a 73.

yes Steve Stricker who shot a second
round 69 that included this hole out
for Birdie on his Final Hole. That put
him at 1 under par for the Tourney. He
is the only golfer under par after 2
