Rocky Mount Municipal Building, M-W
president, Lynn Morstad announced that
his company will invest 23-million
dollars to expand it's Rocky Mount
facility and add 175 new jobs in the

process.

M-W already employs 14-hundred
associates in Rocky Mount, and Morstad
says their loyalty and dedication was a
major factor when choosing which of the
companies three plants to expand.

people in an apartment on Orchard
street making bombs.

Police got a search warrant and
raided the home around 4:30 this
morning.

They found an explosive device
and a substance that appeared to be
cocaine.

Police answered a call shortly

from the Governor.. Tim Kaine was in
Lynchburg today, promising to do what
he could to help the city regain state
funding for its Combined Sewer Overflow
work.
