The FBI says the seven men arrested
inside this Miami warehouse in a raid
thursday night were conspiring with
al-Qaeda to levy war against the United
States by blowing up the Sears Tower in
Chicago.

"Fortunately these men were not able to
get beyond initial planning phase."

With an informant on the inside...the
FBI had been watching the Muslim group
for some time. The indictment handed up
on Thursday details how the men sought
money, weapons and vehicles from a
person they thought to be an al qaeda
representative. In addition to the
Sears Tower, the 5 Americans, 1 legal

resident and one Haitian.. were also
allegedly targeting a federal building
in Miami.

emphasizing the plot was in the

in Chicago and Miami were in no

In Miami, peoople living near the
warehouse could tell something unusual

had the whole head wrapped up, just the
eyes showing and they standing guard,
one here and one there, like soldiers."

But one person who claims to be a group
member says the men used the warehouse

to pray.

The suspects are expected to make an

pool of blood June 12th, hours after

concerned about thunderstorms in the
forecast.

The Brins Fire is said to be 15-

In just two weeks, the insects
have defoliated close to seven thousand
acres, and residents say they are
worried about the impact on their

Galapagos tortoise.

Harriet-- the oldest captive
creature-- was listed in the Guinness
Book of World Records.

Veterinarians say it appears she
had a heart attack and passed away

Harriett has been credited with
helping develop Charles Darwin's
scientific studies.
