Authorities say the twelve year
old boy was prounounced dead yesterday,
a short time after riding The Rock "n"
Roller Coaster.

It's unclear whether his death
was related to an injury on the ride or
a medical conditon.

Disney says a preliminary
investigaiton indicates the ride was
operating normally.

The ride however is now closed.

rooms.

youngsters were injured in a fall from
a Ferris wheel as their riding car
turned upside down.

On average, vacationers will be
paying around 2-86 a gallon for gas

reported earlier about the evacuation
of Coyner Springs Detention Center in
Botetourt County.

Firefighters responded to a call about
a fire in the gymnasium around 5 A-M.

Authorities say a large exhaust fan
inside the gym caught fire.

The staff evacuated 56 detainees into
secured areas outside the building.

The fire was quickly put out.

Everyone is now back inside and no
injuries were reported.

Stadium continued to attract a crowd.

well: saving brick, separating metals

Vinton and Stewartsville.

was headed and how many truckloads it

would take to haul it away.

Travel and Tours in Daleville.

According to an affidavit,
investigators executed an search
warrant after nine-different people
said they had booked trips with
Hudgins.

According to the warrant- the
people received last minute calls
saying the trip had been cancelled, but
could be rescheduled for more money.

Hudgins says the problems arose
after an issue with his credit card.

He says he's since cleared the
problem up and once he gets a check
from the credit card company, his
clients will get the more than
20-thousand dollars he reportedly owes
them.

The city of Roanoke says that Salem

Turnpike at Caldwell Street is closed
because of a tractor trailer accident.

There's no word on when the road will
re-open.

Meanwhile, Liberty Road, Northeast
between Hollins Road and Ridgefield
Sreet in Roanoke, is closed because of
a sinkhole.

It will remain closed for the next two
while water crews make repairs. A
detour has been set up.

fan inside the gymnasium at Coyner
Springs Detention Center in Botetourt
County caught fire around five o'clock
this morning.The staff evacuated 56
detainees into secured areas outside
the building.The fire was quickly put
out.

Everyone is now back inside and no
injuries were reported.
