Eight people were involved in a
boat accident near Mitchell's Point
Marina Saturday night.

Only one person was seriously

45-year-old Suzan Fontaine was on
the bass boat with her two young
children and her husband.

Fontaine broke her arm, and
officials say everyone involved is
lucky that was the only injury.

LANDINGS, AND MANY COME TO ENJOY THE
FIREWORKS.

during the peek of the holiday and that
is why Hale, and the Water Safety
Council will set up a new No Wake Zone
surrounding the show this year.

For those wondering if the No
Wake Zone is necessary, Game Wardens
say the accident Saturday night is

night, could lead to this.

Richard Roeper said Ebert's vital signs

of an operation to remove a cancerous
growth on his salivary gland.

shuttle Discovery this weekend due to

Roanoke neighborhood to a standstill.

Roanoke police were serving a
warrant for Botetourt County yesterday,
when they heard there were several guns
inside a Memorial Avenue home.

Officers arrested Tracy Snowcloud
Lovern (LUH-vurn) on charges of assault
and abduction.

15-year-old boy spent Saturday night
trapped under an A-T-V.

State police say the boy had gotten
on the A-T-V to travel to another house
to get his things, but he apparently

Chicago hospital.

Ebert underwent an emergency
operation to repair complications fro a
previous cancer surgery.

The 64- year- old's fellow Sun-Times
columnist and television show co-host
Richard Roeper said Ebert's vital signs
appeared to be good.

Over the weekend, Ebert apparently
had a blood vessel burst near the site
of an operation to remove a cancerous
growth on his salivary gland.

"Ebert and Roeper" can be seen every
