Officials say the FBI learned of a plot
to target New York city 's

transportation system from an Internet
chat group used by extremists.

Sources tell CBS News information was
exchanged via emails through a

website monitored and perhaps
controlled by law enforcement agencies.

The emails are described as "extremely
vague." No bomb making materials

were ever seized. Officials say one man
is under arrest in Lebanon.

Sources say no one in the U-S is
involved in the plot.

"There is obviously concern about

this latest threat of terrorism...but

the FBI says there's no

immediate threat in New York or any
other city in the U.S."

New York Senator Charles Schumer
released this statement about the

foiled plot: (graphic) "This is one
instance where intelligence was on

top of its game and discovered the plot
when it was just in the talking

phase."

news of the latest plot in stride.

That is where they had a credible
sighting of Oops, the missing monkey
yesterday.

the country.

The team, which is coached by

Blacksburg four days due to recruiting,
relocating and retooling.

Europe. They will crown the Cup
champion this weekend and 3 teams from
the Roanoke Star's Soccer Club will be
in Europe to experience the passion
along with playing some soccer of their
own.

The Roanoke Star Under 15 Boys
Premier and Classic Teams along with
the Under 14 Girls team will travel to
Finland and Sweden to play in
tournaments against teams from all over
the World.

They will continue the tradition
of playing Soccer in Europe that was
started in the Stars program back in
1992.

Soccer is at the top of the to-do
list for the trip, but the kids will
also have a chance to learn about

different cultures.

The teams will arrive in Europe
on Saturday with play beginning on
