Southeast Roanoke- after a Vinton
police officer was shot this afternoon
in the city of Roanoke.

foot. He is said to be doing okay
tonight.

But the suspect apparently ran into
a home in the 17 hundred block of

a prisoner who were shot in North
Carolina today.

Officials say deputies were traking
an inmate 37 year old Willie Forrest to
a Raleigh prison when he grabbed one of
their guns.

Forrest reportedly shot one of the
officers in the shoulder. Another
deputy then shot and killed Forrest.

Forrest was serving 56 years in
prison for attempted murder.

Radford murder investigation.

The homicide happened last week
and a 22 year-old female is facing
first degree murder charges.

the woman charged with the murder,
Kelly Lance of Radford told police
Henry ran

pointed a gun at her.

It also states Lance grabbed the
gun and shot him once.

She told police she did not know
Henry.

When police arrived, they found
Henry outside in the parking lot beside
a green Cadillac DeVille.

He was bleeding from his right
shoulder.

Henry later died at the New River
Valley Medical Center.

Last night the Montgomery County
School board voted to close the
building.

Dubrovnik (Doo-brov-neek) , Croatia.

thread along Croatia's land and sea
borderline. The effort should end in
September.

The tie would be the biggest art
piece in the world.

The artist decided on a necktie
