Yesterday The build-up happened around
seven A-M in the Sections residence
halls -- sending more than a hundred
people to area hospitals.

They included teenagers from an
Upward Bound program, and participants
from the "Power in the Spirit" Lutheran
conference.

One man died following the
exposure.

Today, only one patient remains
at Lewis-Gale Hospital.

We're told that patient has been
upgraded from critical to stable
condition.

targeted for the first time in the four
day-old assault against Hezbollah...a

a terrorist organization.

(Nats: "water spraying at gas station")

Israeli strikes hit gas stations,

people and injuring many others. So far
over 100 people have died in the

Hezbollah returned fire, launching
rockets into Northern Israel...hitting
residential areas.

(Nats of Speech)

Lebanon's Prime Minister addressed the
nation Saturday....pledging to extend
his government's control over all of
Lebanon, which could break Hezbollah's
rule in the south. That would comply
with one of Israel's central demands.

(Standup: Wendy Gillette/United

"The prime minister also demanded that
the United Nations broker an immediate
cease-fire to end Israel's offensive
against Lebanon. The U-N did not take
any action Saturday."

Israel is refusing to back down.

(Sot: Dan Halutz/Israeli Army Chief of

"We don't think that we need any UN
instructions, decisions or
recommendations."

Foreigners fled Lebanon, as the U.S.
state department worked to get
Americans to safety. But with the
strikes continuing as night fell,
getting out is getting harder to do. In

Standup: Dawes is the only American

Olympic Games. That is a testiment to
her dedication, considering the average

TNT The Busch boys took to the track :00 today at Loudon where Clint Bowyer had
the car to beat leading a race high 120
laps, but not the one that counted.

The biggest incident of the day
occured when Tracy Hines ran over
Danville's Peyton Sellers, who was
making his first Busch start, and then
Kertus Davis ended up on top of Hines
to bring out the caution.

Carl Edwards got the lead with
50 laps to go and held off series
points leader Kevin Harvick to take the
checkered flag as the Nextel Cup
regulars continue to dominate the
junior circuit. Denny Hamlin was
third. The Busch Series comes to
Martinsville next week for the Goody's
250.
