This ceremony features clowns
equipped with colorful wigs and
costumes.. red noses and large plastic
shoes- but the trek through Mexico's
Guadalupe Avenue to the Basilica for
communion is serious business.
The clowns will receive their
blessings of laughter for the year.
While the clowns danced and sang....
once inside they bowed their painted
faces to receive the blessing.
