A storm with recorded winds of up to
50-miles per hour- swept through
downtown Roanoke yesterday. It peeled
back the roof of the Virginia Museum of
Transportation, picked up an air
conditioning unit and even hit the
neighboring Roanoke Times. There's no
word yet on just how much damage was
caused by the storm.
