The facility held an open house
this afternoon to showcase the new
building, and to find some of these
pets a new home.

There was a line outside the
doors -- as hopeful pet owners waited
to pick up their new best friend.

Organizers hope excitement about
adopting an animal continues.

Watson says this is the time of
year when the facility is typically
overwhelmed with CATS.

That's why the SPCA is especially
looking for families who are interested
in taking home one of these friendly
felines.
