this year to 500.

That's 43-more than this time

last year.

The drivers were killed when
their vehicles collided on *Route-501.*

State police identified the
victims as 56-year-old Robert Woosley
of Brookneal and 21-year-old Megan

The rail crossing on Shadwell Drive in
Roanoke County will be closed today and
tomorrow from eight A-M until six P-M.
That will allow Norfolk Southern to
replace rail and ties and to resurface
the crossing. Drivers are advised to
take Sanderson Drive to Reed Mountain
Road and onto Lee Highway to avoid the
repairs.
