three-hours this morning.

The feel good story that was
Floyd Landis winning the Tour De France
has taken a big turn towards the dark
side tonight.

Landis's Phonack cycling team
says its have been informed that Landis
tested positive for high levels of
testosterone.

Sunday The positive test came after
Stage 17 which was Landis's defining
moment of the tour when he took off on
a solo ride through the mountains that
got him back into contention for his
Tour de France win.

The 30 year old rider has been
suspended by his team pending the
outcome of a test on the back-up blood
sample. If there is a second positive
test he will be fired from his cycling
team and possibly stripped of his Tour
de France victory. Landis denies any
wrongdoing.

at the Class B fast pitch world series
this afternoon in Salem.

In the 18 and under division it
was discovered that the team from
Maryland had advanced to the
championship game with four illegal
players.

The players met the age

requirements for the division - but in
Class B softball - unlike Class A -
college players are not allowed and the
Maryland team had four of them.

As a result the West Virginia
Hammers won the 18 and under title.

"sick," not drunk, when he didn't make
a flight from London to Los Angeles
today.

was too drunk to board the flight. But
his publicist says that's "totally
untrue." She says Hasselhoff didn't
feel well after he took some medicine
for a recent arm injury.

But The Sun newspaper said the 53-
year- old actor was reportedly seen
staggering around.

The report claimed Hasselhoff downed
bottles of beer and shots of whisky as
he waited for his flight.
