So far, workers have managed to
remove more than 120-tons of debris.

the 581/220 interchanges from Orange

At Elm Avenue for example, there are
currently six options.

They include adding a separate

red, having just one traffic signal in
the middle, or replacing the bridge
altogether.

the early stages, actual construction

may be 10 to 15 years away.

Funding is also an issue, it's safe
to say it will cost millions of dollars
to make improvements to all five
interchanges.

Then of course there are all the
disruptions the work will cause
drivers.

But the state says doing nothing is
not an option.

The study looked at the insurance

that about 40 percent developed a
complication within six months of
leaving the hospital.

IS NOT A SINGLE SHOT BULLET CURE

(END SOT)

Doctor Alan White says he always
tells his patient the risk was about

33-percent, which isn't much lower than
the study results.

It found the five most common
complications were surgical problems
with the joining of the intestine and
stomach, infections, pneumonia,
abdominal hernias, and the most common
dumping syndrome which includes,
vomiting, reflux, and diarrhea.

benefits often outweigh the risks. He
