GRAPHIC=Plane Crash Federal investigators are expected to
arrive this morning to determine what
caused a plane to crash at the Virginia
Tech Airport.

It happened yesterday right before
four o'clock.
State Police say the pilot had just
dropped off the passenger's son at the
Tech Airport.
The plane lost power after it took
off again.
The pilot then circled the airport and
attempted to land.
That's when the plane skidded off the
runway and hit some trees.
The two people on the plane were
taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital.
They are both listed in good
condition.

downtown Roanoke to 220-A - that's by
the Wal-Mart in Bonsack - then head

three-hours yesterday morning.

are continuing to monitor the air
quality of the evacuated Buckland
Forest neighborhood.
It has not been given the all
clear just yet.
Authorities last night asked more
than 80 families who live within a half
mile of the accident site to leave
their homes as a precaution.

investigators are expected to arrive
this morning to determine what caused a
plane to crash at the Virginia Tech
Airport.

four o'clock.
State Police say the pilot had just
dropped off the passenger's son at the
Tech Airport.
The plane lost power after it took
off again. The pilot then circled the

The two people on the plane were
taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital.
They are both listed in good

minimum wage, House Republican leaders
plan to vote on a wage increase,
before going on recess this weekend.
The minimum wage has been at 5- 15

Someone working 40 hours a week at
the minimum wage
makes ten-thousand-700 dollars a year,
which is below the poverty
line for workers with families.
Democrats want to raise the minimum

The species only blooms every two
to five years and when it does, it
emits an intensely powerful stench.
Some say it's rotten eggs, others
