hospital this morning after an accident
on route 220 southbound in Botetourt
County.

State Police say a red SUV merged
into a turning lane near the VFW
intersection, but apparently decided
NOT to turn, and swerved back into
traffic.

The SUV struck a truck and a
motorcycle, before ending up on its
roof.

The two inside the red SUV had to
be airlifted out.

No word on their conditions or if
any charges will be filed.

prompted a massive search for a missing
man.

Hundreds of marijuana- laced gumballs
were discovered in Arlington last
weekend, where 20 year- old suspect was
arrested for possession with intent to
distribute.

In January, a school officer in
Columbia, Maryland confiscated two
gumballs with smiley faces on one
side-- with the back side apparently
drilled out and re- filled.

The faux candies, called "grenades"
came in foil wrappers with a printed
marijuana leaf.

B fast pitch world series yesterday in
Salem.

In the 18 and under division, it
was discovered that the team from
Maryland had advanced to the
championship game with four illegal
players.

The players met the age
requirements for the division - but in
Class B softball - unlike Class A -
college players are not allowed and the
Maryland team had four of them.

As a result the West Virginia
Hammers won the 18 and under title.
