southern Pakistan today chanting

States.

This comes after an Israeli

strike that killed more than 50 people
in the Lebanon city of Quana KAH-nuh.

Meanwhile in Israel, wounded
Israelis soldiers were evacuated by
helicopter to a hospital in Haifa
today.

Haifa also saw dozens of mourners
gathered for the funeral of a
27-year-old Israeli soldier killed in
southern Lebanon.

morning.

GRAPHIC=Drowning Police say a Richmond teenager


drowned yesterday after being hit by a
wave at Virginia Beach.

Police say 17-year-old *Mani Kai
Kamineni* was standing on a sandbar in
chest-deep water when witnesses say a
wave knocked him over. Kamineni
apparently panicked and didn't come up
for air.

Lifeguards and rescue workers
tried to save the teen -- but his body
was recovered 45-minutes later.

It was sent to the State Medical
Examiner's office in Norfolk for an
autopsy.

about 40 percent of bariatric surgery
patients had a complication within six

months of leaving the hospital.

complications were surgical problems
with the joining of the intestine and
stomach, infections, pneumonia,

dumping syndrome which includes,
vomiting, reflux, and diarrhea.

And finally in health news, the sale
of Danville Regional Medical center
last year is now benefiting Danville
community college.

After the sale of the hospital money
was placed in a trust for health,
education, and the well being of
Southside residents.


And now the Danville Foundation is
giving 9-point-7 million dollars of it
to the college. The money will go
towards renovations on campus as well
as building a new Health Sciences
Center that will house a community
dental clinic and help to expand health
programs like nursing.

Off-season training is more the rule
than the exception for kids these days.

10-9 last night to Thomasville. But
the Mustangs still have the best record
in the Coastal Plain League's Western
Division at 29 and 11.

The Stangs have already clinched
