Parkway-

Roanoke County Police say an
officer was on routine patrol around
one this afternoon when a citizen
flagged him down and said a man had
just gone over the bridge.

When Fire and Rescue crews

reached the man 160 feet below he was
still alive, and they took him to the
hospital with what they describe as
potentially life threatening injuries.

Investigators have not
established the man's identity.

Christiansburg nail salon owner,
accused of sexually molesting a client
are moving forward.

Kenny Tran is charged with sexual
battery.

In court today, a woman used to
go to the salon told a judge, Tran
slipped his hand down her shirt and
reached up her pant leg while she was
getting her nails done.

Tran's wife has told News 7 he is
innocent.

Back in 2001, Tran plead guilty

to sexual abuse for inappropriately
touching two women at a nail salon in
Pulaski County.

The judge found probably cause
and sent the case to the grand jury.

knocked to the ground.

fined her 500 dollars

pen is escape proof. She has to do all
of it within 10 days.

They have created a new
motorcycle touring brochure, Roanoke

tourism officials say it's already
generating interest from national

The Northside Vikings not only

replaced a coach in the off-season, but
they replaced a high school legend.

Burt Torrence takes over for Jim
Hickam and begins with a clean slate in
his first head coaching job.

Torrence has given the Vikings
new uniforms, new helmets and new hope
that they can make it back to the
playoffs.

One thing that hasn't changed at
Northside is the commitment to the
weight room.

But in reality, the Vikings have
run more hills than they have pumped
iron during the summer with a special
emphasis on conditioning.

The Vikings will get a tough
early test as they open the season at
Liberty on September 1st.

his tenure as a head Coach, Norm
Lineburg will be wrapping his up. As
we told you last night at 11, Coach
Lineburg will be stepping down after
this season.

It will be his 37th year at
Radford and 46th overall in coaching.
He is one of the great coaches
all-time, but more importantly he is
one of the all-time great people that
has cared more about the kids he
coached than himself.

Lineburg has won 3-hundred and
ten games as a head coach Football
Coach and that includes 2 state
championships.

Coach Lineburg was surrounded by
friends and family as he made the
official annoucement after practice
today and he did it on the field named
in his honor.

begins on August 31st. But the Biggest
Game at that Opening Labor Day weekend
is on Monday Night between Florida
State and Miami.

The Hurricanes chances of winning
that contest have already taken a hit.

November 5, 2005 Miami Head Coach Larry Coker has
suspended 4 players for the game
including Running Back Tyrone Moss who
lead the team in rushing last season,
he did suffer a Season endingknee
injury in the Virginia Tech Game.

Something he was rehabbing from this
off-season.

Joining Moss on the sidelines
will be receivers Ryan Moore and
Rashaun Jones, along with linebacker
James Bryant.
