the Food County meat department all
night.

When the manager and several
employees arrived this morning, he
surprised them with a semi-automatic

He herded about 8 people in-all
into the manager's office before
robbing the store and leaving on foot.

The sheriff's office searched all

The food country is now re-open

No employees were injured.

Jean, maybe someone saw a car
parked somewhere unusual last night or
someone walking on the road.. that
information could help.

But remember this suspect is
considered armed and dangerous.

Rachel, we've reported in the
past week about a man suspected in a
string of break ins in Smyth and Wythe
counties... took food, camping supplies
etc.. his name is Troy Leon Goad...

Do they believe he was involved in
this robbery?

RACHEL ANSWER:

No Jean, They believe Goad was
involved in a breakin last night in
Grayson County and a manhunt was
underway there at the same time police
were investigating this robbery.

We'll tell you what's new with
the search for Goad tonight on News 7

The shirts went on sale today
inside Sam's at the city market
downtown.

The two women who designed the
shirts have been trying to come up with
a way to help the Mill Mountain Zoo and
the Oops chase gave them that
opportunity.

All the profits from the 13
dollar shirts will be donated to the
Zoo.
