killed in Campbell County.

this morning, when he was hit by an
unknown vehicle.
It happened about a half mile
south of English Tavern Road.

a suspect after piecing together a
deadly night.

In the early hours of July 30th the
County's Sheriff's Office received
reports of gunfire in the area of the
Whitestone Village Townhouses on Fonda
Drive, just off Timberlake Road.
They found shell casings from
several weapons and some shot-up cars
-- but no evidence anyone had been hurt
and no witnesses.
More than a week later, police
learned that after the call --
24-year-old Lashawn Kemann Prunty of
Chatham, was brought to the Danville
hospital with a gunshot wound to the
head.
He was later transported to U-V-A
Medical Center where he died.
Turns out Prunty WAS a victim of
the Fonda Drive shooting.

that will cut worker's paychecks.
The United Steelworkers of
America says the Ohio based tiremaker
wants to cut those wages by more than
40 percent.
Negotiations were broken off two

shot David Ray in the leg and fatally
shot Connie Mills.
In a long rambling statement to police
he talked about "spinning around in

The detective who questioned Holmes
played the tape for the jury.
