Residents say they heard loud
music throughout the night and lots of
cars coming and going from the home.

Sheriff's deputies say they did
detain the person responsible for the
shooting a short distance from the
home, but no charges have been filed.

That's because that person says
the shooting was in self-defense.

fire in Indiana.

35-miles east of Chicago.

The state fire marshal says about
a dozen people lived in makeshift rooms
in the two-story home...some of them

arrived and had not returned.

Immigration officials have been
to the scene.

The cause of the fire has NOT

destroyed a home earlier today in
Franklin County.

This house on Rufus Road caught
fire around twelve o'clock.

Firefighters battled the fire for
more than three hours.

Investigators say it appears the

fire started in the attic, but the
flames spread, which burned the entire
inside of the house.

Officials say no one was inside
the home at the time.
