Two people from Wythe County are
in jail tonight, accused of not only
growing marijuana and making meth, but
also of running a dog fighting
operation.

discovery late last night when deputies
raided a home on Earles Road in Rural
Retreat.

lab. But that wasn't all...
NATS: dogs barking in pound.
10 100 percent Amercian bull dogs were
also on the property.
One of them attacked a deputy and had
to be shot.
And some of the dogs were not in good
shape.
This has visible bite marks and scars
on his face.
And this one has no fur and bites all
over his back.
Investigators found evidence these dogs
were being raised to fight.

vote on controversial plans to build a
new football stadium anytime soon.

board wants to put a three-thousand
seat stadium near the Stroubles
Strew-bulls Mill community.
Some residents don't want the
stadium off Prices Fork Road, and the
Blacksburg Planning Commission rejected
the plan back in March.

to delay next week's possible vote and
send the proposal back to the Planning
Commission.
This means next Tuesday's public
hearing is now canceled.

Depending on how you spell Macaca
it can mean different things-- a

A Webb spokeswoman says

"disrespectful towards others."
Political analyst Bob Holsworth
says he doesn't believe Allen's
comments will change the dynamic of the
Senate race, but could come back to
haunt Allen during a run for the White
House.

a developer more time to come up with a
plan for the south end of town.

Suggs are back together just a day
after the former Fleming and Virginia
Tech star was traded to the Jets.

Suggs was thrilled about the
trade and arrived at the Jets' camp at
Hofstra Univerisity last night.
Unfortunately, this morning when
he went through his routine physical -
he didn't pass it. The Jets failed to
say what the problem was, but News 7
Sports has learned that the Jets
weren't sure about Suggs' left knee.
Back in February he had
arthroscopic surgery on the knee and
went through the proper rehab. And
while he's been playing fine in
Cleveland, the Jets weren't comfortable
with completing a trade for a player
who is not in their estimation 100
percent ready to play.
By the way the left knee is the
same one Suggs injured in 2001 at
Virginia Tech when he tore the anterior
cruciate ligament, underwent surgery
and missed the remainder of that 2001
season.

this week - and hurt his hand.
