were killed this morning in a single
vehicle crash on Route 220.

State police say it happened about one

mile north of the Virginia/North
Carolina state line.

Nineteen-year-old Kasey Lee Brown was
southbound in a 1995 Geo, when she ran
off the right side of the road around
4:45 a.m.

The car struck a culvert, went
airborne, rode up a bank and hit a
utility poll.

She was pronounced dead at the
hospital.

Her 16-year-old passenger WAS wearing

court ruling against David Wolfgang
Hawke.

A-O-L won the judgment against

The company accused Hawke of

laws by sending massive amounts of

Hawkes father said last night that

having some trouble making ends meet,
so it's cutting back hours.

the Richmond museum will be closed
every Wednesday from Labor Day to
Memorial Day.

The White House of the
Confederacy will also be closed for two
months at a time starting in January.

To offset money woes, the museum

the state, but only got 50- thousand in
the new budget cycle.

The board- of- directors has
entertained the idea of moving the
museum to a less congested part of
Richmond.

Some believe an expanding
hospital nearby is keeping tourists

died.

He's appeared in some of the most
popular comedies on the big screen,
including the films "When Harry Met
Sally" and "City Slickers."

leukemia.

His wife said in a statement that he
died from complications of the illness
on Monday in Los Angeles.

Bruno Kirby was 57.

transfer as soon as possible, and News
7 Sports has learned that one of the
likely destinations is Liberty

University.

Bannister was hampered by
injuries last season, but has played in

the Cleveland Browns just a day after
the former Virginia Tech star was
traded to the Jets.

Suggs traveled from Cleveland to
the Jets' camp at Hofstra Univerisity
Monday night and was thrilled for
another opportunity.

Unfortunately, he did not pass
his routine physical yesterday morning.

The Jets failed to say what the
problem was, but News 7 Sports has
learned that the Jets weren't sure
about Suggs' left knee.

Back in February he had

arthroscopic surgery on the knee and
went through the proper rehab.
And, while he's been playing fine in
Cleveland, the Jets weren't comfortable
with completing a trade for a player
who is not in their estimation 100
percent ready to play.

By the way the left knee is the
same one Suggs injured in 2001 at
Virginia Tech when he tore the anterior
cruciate ligament, underwent surgery,
and missed the remainder of that 2001
season.
