Police may have a confession but do
they have their man? One day after

John Mark Karr's stunning admission
that he was with JonBenet Ramsey

when she died , authorities are
focusing on whether or not he is

actually telling the truth .

Visibly nervous and stammering, Karr

claimed he loved the child beauty

queen and never meant to kill her.

"Her death was an accident."

Karr was nabbed after trading hundreds
of emails with a Colorado

professor who produced documentaries on
the JonBenet murder. In one of

those emails published in the Rocky
Mountain News, Karr writes that he

prays he and jon benet can be together
again along with other little

girls who are now gone from his life
forever.

Karr had just started a new teaching
job at a Bangkok school when

officials arrested him, concerned for
public safety. But Boulder

authorities say it�s only the
beginning.

"There is much more work to be done."

That work includes matching Karr to
DNA evidence taken from the crime

scene. Karr has already been tested.
Now authorities here in Colorado

are waiting for results.

Still Karr's confession and credibility
are in question.

His ex-wife in Alabama says she was
with him at the time of the murder

on Christmas day in 1996.

SHE SINCERELY BELIEVES THAT THERE WAS

For now Karr sits in this Thai prison
awaiting his return to the United

our region is failing to meet
expectations.

First it was Vinton, now it's Henry
County.
