truck accident in Alleghany County
around 9 o'clock this morning.

State Police say the crash
happened near mile marker 18 on
Interstate 64 in the eastbound lanes.

Investigators say a truck with a
camper shell lost control on a turn and
flipped.

27 year-old Hermes
Garcio-Lancheros and 21 year-old
Preston Adams were both riding in the
bed of the pick-up.

Both men died.

from a high profile murder trial in
Richmond.

earlier this week, of five counts of
capital murder for killing a Richmond
family.

Now they're listening to
testimony in the penalty phase to
decide if Gray gets the death penalty
or life in prison.

brush fire this afternoon.

Firefighters in Bedford County
were called out around three o'clock.

The fire was only about two acres
large when they got the call -- and
only grew to about four acres before it
was put out.

Crews sprayed the surrounding
brush to make sure the flames didn't
spark up after they left.

riding on the streets of Lexington this
week.

legendary war horse was moved back home
to V-M-I's Jackson Memorial Hall.

His name is Little Sorrel, and
after he died his hide was mounted on a
plaster of Paris mold.

He's one of six historic mounted
horse- hides in the world.

Little Sorrell's been at V-M-I
since the end of World War Two, but had
to be moved two years ago while his
normal quarters underwent renovations.

Sink ran off the road on Interstate 81
in Botetourt County.

She was partially ejected from
the car and died at the scene.

Sink was not wearing a seatbelt.

Her family is now trying to

They are holding a fundraiser to
raise money for a scholarship.

These kids were given a hands on
lesson about tortoises.

The event was part of a zoo
fundraiser.

Folks could purchase book
vouchers which could then be used to by
