Charles Morva shot a sheriff's deputy
and killed a security guard yesterday
inside Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Morva was escorted by a
Montgomery County Deputy to the
hospital's emergency room for treatment
of a sprained wrist and leg, when he
overpowered the deputy.

search for the person or persons who
shot two men over the weekend.

One of the victims called police
from a car wash on Arnette Boulevard.
He was shot in the chest and is
listed in stable condition at Danville
Regional Medical Center.
Police also found a second man
who was shot in the leg several blocks
away on Melville Avenue.

crews had hoped to have the star lit up
by tonight, but that will not be the
case.
The scheduled renovation work was
completed over the weekend, but V-E-S
and city leaders have decided to do
more renovations than originally
planned.
V-E-S officials say that means
another week of wiring and neon tube
replacements.
The new relighting date is
tentatively set for next Sunday.
