campus, there is new information on the
carbon monoxide leak that killed one
person in one of their dorms.

people staying at the college were
overcome by carbon monoxide fumes. One
of them died.
Investigators say a faulty hot water
system was responsible.

Six weeks after the carbon
monoxide incident, detectors have been
installed in all campus buildings and
students living in the dorm say they
are confident they will be safe.

local hospitals.
Authorities now confirm that more
than three hours passed before rescuers
found three of the victims, including
Walter Vierling the man who died

exterior of the building

condition of employment extensive and
thorough background checks are
conducted on all of our employees.
The employee in question passed
those checks and came to us with

sexual battery of a minor. He's in jail
without bond awaiting trial in
November.

tonight after another N-R-V manhunt
failed to track them down.

approached a suspicious vehicle with no
inspection stickers around 6-30 this
morning at a rest stop along 81 near
Radford.
The driver pulled away and led
the trooper on a high speed chase.
The driver wrecked the car in

and took off into the woods with
another man.
The search lasted about seven
hours, but the two men have not yet
been caught.

Leaders in Dekalb Couty, Georgia
decided to take action to try and
disuade people from picking up their
phones while in the car.
Now, if a driver has an accident and
a police officer cites the cause of the
accident is a cell phone, the driver
will have to pay a fine of up to 500
dollars.
County officials say they want
drivers to know there will be
consequences for irresponsible driving.

did include some drama. Woods on his

Henry-William Fleming Rivalry loaded up
the buses and started the 2-thousand
and 6 Road Show, they played this one
in Rocky Mount at Franklin County's
Stadium.

TNT Many of those Cup Regulars racing
in the Busch Race this evening at
Bristol.
Ryan Newman one of those was
leading the race when he gets the Oh-4
car loose, collected in the bump and
run is Reed Sorenson who was running
second at the time, he was none to
happy with Newman giving him the Double
Thumbs up.
with under 70 laps to go in the
race. There are cars sliding all over
the track. The 36 car of Tim Sauter
not on the gas pedal quick enough so he
slides it around, coming up behind him
Jamie McMurray who was running second
at the time gets tapped from behind by
the 88. Both of those cars run into
Sauter who had to be taken out of his
car by Medical Personal and transported
to a local hospital. The Race was
red-flagged for the wreck.
Someone who was able to avoid all
the trouble was Matt Kenseth who passed
Kevin Harvick for the lead late in the
race to record the Busch Series Win.
