College, new details are emerging about
the fatal carbon monoxide incident
there this summer.
Authorities confirm that more
than three hours passed before rescue
workers found three of the victims,
including Water Vierling, the 91- year-
old pastor who died.

A faulty hot water heater has
been replaced there, and carbon
monoxide detectors have been installed

released a statement saying: As a
condition of employment extensive and
thorough background checks are
conducted on all of our employees.
The employee in question passed
those checks and came to us with
impeccable references.
As soon as we became aware of this
accusation the individual was placed on
leave.

through the colorado justice system
in a slow shufflle at the jefferson
county airport.
The man who said he was with JonBenet
Ramsey when she died in 1996 spent his
first night in a jail cell isolated
from other prisoners.

"There's always some concern with
anyone facing charges involving
children that there may be some
retaliation or some danger from the
other inmates."
The 41 year old teacher is expected to
appear before a judge as early as
Monday to face charges in the infamous
murder case. He was extradited to
Boulder Thursday after spending a
number of days in california where he
had been charged with possessing child
pornography back in 2001.

Bringing Karr to justice has been an
international odyssey. It started
in thailand last week when he was
arrested ,,, just five days after
officials here in Boulder learned his
name.
Prosecutors refuse to tip their hand on
the evidence against Karr,
keeping the arrest warrant and other
documents sealed. They have been
criticized for years on their handling
of the case and are now
proceeding with extreme caution.

"They're dealing with the DNA, they're
dealing with the alibi, they're trying
to place him in the state of
Colorado..."
Since Karr's bizarre public confession
in Thailand his role in the murder of
JonBenet has been questioned.
Family members say he was in alabama
the night of her murder and a past
police investigation shows he's always
had a fasination with the case. Now
it's up to the da's office to try to
solve the puzzle and see if the pieces
fit.

it hosted the World's Fair.

landmark that year, but once the fair
was over no one knew what to do with
the unusual structure. It has been
closed for more than the last 10 years.
Its strange shape has designers
thinking about how to make a ball
shaped building more useable.
One developer's from Chattanooga
unveiled plans to add a restaurant,
office space and even an observation
deck to the sunsphere's tower.

the excitement is not all about the
sport.
They're in a body painting
contest.
Artists are rendering the five
mascots of the 2008 Beijing games -- on
their bellies.
It's all done in a spirit of
enthusiasm, say the women.
And the winner got a certificate
of merit.
