ESPN2 Things seemed to be working until
the Semi-Finals of the World
Championships where the U.S. layed an
egg.

The Americans had been unbeaten
in the tournament and were taking on
Greece in the Semi-Finals when the
wheels came off.

They led by 12 points in the
second quarter and then couldn't hit
the broadside of a barn as they
eventually trailed by as many as 14.

United states shot only 32
percent from behind the 3-point line in
the *CG final Greece game losing 101 to 95. What makes the 101 loss even more startling is that Greece United States has no current N-B-A Players on the 95 roster.

The Americans will take on
Argentina for the Bronze Medal on

Saturday.
