still missing in North Carolina has
been called off for the night.

little brother, 3-year-old Jacob White.
The two boys disappeared in Stokes
County after walking out of their

the boy's scents to the nearby swollen
Dan River.

In a news release issued

they haven't been able to find the

but it has actually been shipped
overseas from here in the U-S for
years.

The House of Representatives
passed legislation that would ban the
slaughter of horses for sale as meat.
The legislation seeks to close a
loophole that allowed the practice to
go on longer than congress had
intended.
It was banned last year, but the
Bush administration began charging

shooting death in Franklin County this
morning.

Hopkins shot and killed her husband
Nicholas Hopkins possibly following an
argument.
During the shooting 15-year-old
Diana DEE-ana Brown, Chrystal's

stable condition.
Hopkins was charged with
malicious wounding and use of a firearm
to commit a felony.

investigation no charges have been

figure out how a Martinsville City
electrician died on the job.

Wilson was using a cherry picker to
install new electrical lines to a
chemical building at the Martinsville
water treatment plant.
That's when another electrician
working below noticed Wilson was

live at the time.
An autopsy will be performed in
Roanoke to determine if Wilson's death
was accidental or if he died from
natural causes.

escaped and killed two law enforcement
officers has made his first court
appearance.

have to undergo a psychological
evaluation.
A judge granted the defense
attorney's request yesterday.
Morva is charged with capital
murder in the death of security officer
Derrick McFarland.
He's also accused in the shooting
death of Corporal Eric Sutphin, but has
not been formally charged.
Morva is due in court next month
for a preliminary hearing.
