missing brothers in North Carolina, but
it did not end the way searchers had
hoped.

VO-NAT Authorities believe they have
located the bodies of 3-year-old Jacob
White and 4-year-old Jeffrey White
Junior.
They were found about 100 yards
apart in the Dan River early this
afternoon.
People had extensively searched
that area before.
The boys had been missing since
Tuesday.
Their grandfather says the boys
ran away after pushing out a screen
window, but he could not catch them.
Around 200 people helped with the
search.

the works that could settle the
criminal charges against those three
students from Roanoke County accused of
throwing paint cans off the roof of a
New York City hotel.

a judge in New York today.
Attorneys for Brittany Goldberg, Moses
Moore and Sean McGhee asked the court
to give them more time to negotiate
with the District Attorney's Office.
A new trial date of December 23
was set, but the case could be resolved
sooner by plea agreement.

warrant sworn out against him after
tracking Jim Webb in Roanoke.
Pickels says he had no trouble
tracking previous Webb appearances, but
last April that changed after he met up
with Dave 'mudcat' Saunders.
He owns the building where Webb
appeared last spring.

hear enough evidence to convict Pickels
of trespassing,

with discrepancies the judge took the
case under advisement for 90 days.
After which, pending anymore
Pickels problems, the case will likely
be dropped.

a beating in Blacksburg.

over night.
The Roanoke Times Bird near the
Squires Student Center was punched in
the back of the head.
Another one at Bogen's Restaurant
was hit a few times and has cracks on
the side of the head.
The fiberglass statues are part
of the town's Gobble de Art project.
It's a fundraiser that's trying
to draw attention to the arts.
Janet Johnson who chairs the
project says the birds are scheduled to
be removed in November, so they can be
auctioned off.

appears to be over, though residents
are being asked to conserve for a
little longer.
Last night, city workers
discovered and repaired a leak that was
draining the town's water supply.
The town manager is asking
residents to voluntarily conserve water
until tomorrow morning, so the town's
storage tank can be refilled.
