people fell victim to terrorist attacks
on September 11th, 2001.

Many of us remember where
we were, what went through our heads
that day and our next thought, what
could possible happen next?

So yes, today was filled with
somber moments of remembrance of those
who died in the nine eleven terror
attacks.

And it's only appropriate we take
a tour around the country to visit each
of the sights where American lives were
lost.....Sumi Das joins us, she's live

The service took place on a hill in
Glen Maury Park which overlooks the
city of Buena Vista.

It is a fitting place for Mark
Cline's latest creation.

The well known local artist has
designed a 40 foot tall Twin Towers
replica that he calls "eleven."

It's made out of two large storage
containers and each one features a
large yellow ribbon and several
American flags on top.

solemn time of prayer and remembrance.

Emergency responders along with
residents took time to salute the flag
and pause....to recall a tragic day in
our nation's history.

9-11 victims on scrolls.

There were also nearly three-

field, each representing a victim of

(END SOT) ever Homeland Security conference

today.

As many as a thousand people were
expected to attend the day long
conference which featured speakers and
a panel discussion with homeland
security experts. There were also
memorials to pay tribute to the victims
and survivors. The conference was held
on 9-11, both to mark the day, but also
to generate ideas how we can better
protect Virginia and the nation.

mystery....Coast guards in Florida are
tyring to figure out what happened to a
woman who went missing on a Carnival
Cruise line.

The Miami-based cruise line said

embezzlement.

John Feazelle was one of those who
cashed the checks for her.

It is unlikely Crouse will get any jail
time out of this, she could get up to
five years in prison and a $500,000

NBA career.

Today he pleaded guilty to
drunken driving charges, and had his

license was suspended for 60 days in
the state of North Carolina.

He also received 1 year of
un-supervised probation, 24 hours of
community service, and he will will
have to pay just over 4-hundred dollars
in Court Costs. This all stems from a
June 13th arrest after Redick made an
illegal U-Turn as he approached a
License check-point.

The cause of his death has not
yet been determined.

A statement on Smith's web site

been involved.
