The gunfire hit at least 12
people... six critically and sent
students running for cover.

trench coat and military fatigues
walked into the cafeteria at dawson

college and started shooting.

Students ran for the exits while
teachers yelled for them to get out

fast.

Student "I saw one dead person and one
injured."

Right now reports say at least a dozen
students were shot..several critically.

And police now say that the shooter
turned the gun on himself.

Once police had the downtown campus
evacuated, SWAT teams moved in, in
search of other possible shooters,
while students, faculty, and the
curious stood waiting for more news.

Last Night Around 10:15, police say someone
shot 20-year-old Dashonna Farmer while
she was walking in the 13-hundred block
of 11th Street.

Farmer was later flown to the U-V-A
Medical Center where she's in stable
condition.

Neighbors told police they heard at
least a half dozen shots fired, but did
not see anyone with a gun.

Police are still looking for the
shooter.

searching for the man who robbed a bank
this morning.

The suspect walked into the BB&T
on Peppers Ferry Road near the NRV Mall
at about 9:15 this morning.

Several employees and a customer
were in the bank when it happened, but
no one was injured.

Police say the suspect took off
on foot and they're not sure if a
get-away vehicle was involved.

The suspect is a black man-- he
was wearing dark pants, a maroon or
purple hooded sweatshirt- and white
gloves.

That sweatshirt had a gray or
black design, witnesses describe as a
Spanish or Indian pattern.

Parker Powertrain plant which is on
Mayflower Drive- at around 9:30.

A fire had broken out in an
industrial oven in the manufacturing
part of the plant ... the sprinkler
system kicked in extinguished some of
the blaze before crews put out the
rest.

man did at this Crown station in
Virignia Beach.

The suspect seen here in this
surveillance video.. reportedly
tinkered with the machine so it would
give him four times the amount it was
supposed to---- In other words he

would request 100 dollars.. but the
machine would spit out 400 instead.

Police still haven't caught up
with the man.
