the hospital this morning.

Around 9:30, firefighters got a

call to what sounded like an explosion
inside the Parker Powertrain plant on
Mayflower Drive.

Authorities say a malfunction in
an industrial oven caused a fireball
that spread to two other machines.

Between the sprinkler system and

control in about ten minutes.

Three employees were sent to the
hospital to be checked for smoke
inhalation.

More than 100 others were sent

be honored at the game. Norton, who
was inducted into the Virginia Sports

his victories were a junior college
national championship and four NCAA
playoff appearances.
