GRAPHIC=Shooting Lynchburg police are investigating


a late-night shooting that left a young
woman injured.

It happened in the 12-hundred block
of 11th Street a little after ten p-m.

Neighbors reported hearing anywhere
from six to ten gunshots.

Officers responded to find the
woman, 20-year-old Dashonna Latrice
Farmer, lying in a grassy area just off
the road, and suffering from an
apparent gunshot wound to the face.

She was later airlifted to the
U-V-A Medical Center where she is
listed as being in stable condition.

Vikings.

And they also lost one of their key
defenders and a former Virginia Tech
Hokie.

was hurt on the opening kickoff of the
game, will be lost for the entire
season.

The defensive back who was also a
big part of the Redskins special teams
suffered a knee ligament injury, when

Prioleau (PRAY-LOW) will have
surgery on the knee within the next
couple of weeks.

last night.

It happened in the 12-hundred block
of 11th Street a little after ten p-m.

Neighbors reported hearing anywhere
from six to ten gunshots.

Officers responded to find the
woman, 20-year-old Dashonna Latrice
Farmer, lying in a grassy area just off
the road and suffering from an apparent
gunshot wound to the face.

She was later airlifted to the
U-V-A Medical Center where she is
listed as being in stable condition.

Police are still investigating.

late-night shooting that left a young
woman injured.

of 11th Street a little after ten p-m.

Neighbors reported hearing anywhere
from six to ten gunshots.

Officers responded to find the

woman, 20-year-old Dashonna Latrice
Farmer, lying in a grassy area just off
the road and suffering from an apparent
gunshot wound to the face.

She was later airlifted to the
U-V-A Medical Center where she is
listed as being in stable condition.

ENG#1 Lynchburg police are investigating a


shooting that left 20-year-old Dashonna
Latrice Farmer injured. It happened
in the 12-hundred block of 11th Street
a little after ten p-m. Farmer was
later airlifted to the U-V-A Medical
Center where she is listed as being in

stable condition.

Students at Randolph Macon
Woman's College took their protest to
the next level last night.

About a hundred students
pitched tents and unrolled sleeping
bags on the front lawn of the school's
interim president, Virginia Worden.

The students are upset about the
school's decision to start admitting
men.

And, former president George H. W. Bush
made an unexpected stop in Botetourt
County yesterday. At around 1:30, the
41st president ate lunch at the Three
Lil' Pigs Barbecue in Daleville. Bush
stayed about forty minutes and on his
way out posed for plenty of pictures
with the staff and customers.
