Elkashef and her 6 month old baby were
rescued by a police officer but left
temporarily homeless.

News Seven interviewed her several
times.....she talked about how lucky
she was that Sgt. Kevin Tucker rescued
them....

The Christiansburg Police Department
even took up a collection for the mom
and baby.

the YMCA in Blacksburg.

break their lease with the store at the
Gables Shopping Center.

Kroger officials say when a

company's already going out of its way
to help.

Kroger has adjusted the Y's
payment from nearly 57-thousand dollars
to 30-thousand dollars.

Store officials say they were
unable to make a profit at what is one

about the man who went on a deadly

college shooting spree in Canada.

VO-NAT This is 25-year-old Kimveer Gill.

*CG locator Montreal, Canada On Wednesday, he opened fire with an
automatic rifle inside of Dawson
College in Montreal.

He killed one person and injured
19 others before turning a gun on
himself.

Now police have found writings
that Gill wrote on a website called
Vampire Freaks-dot-com.

They say he described his mood
just hours before the shootings and had
no reservations about killing people.

He also liked to play a video
game called Super Columbine Massacre,
it simulates the 1999 shooting spree at
Colorado.

killed today as the violence continued.

position near Baghdad was the target.

A suicide car bomber struck,
killing two soldiers and injuring 25
more.

Elsewhere in the capitol, 20 more
tortured Iraqi bodies were found,
adding to the 65 discovered on

attacks killed at least 25 people.

The bloodshed comes as Iraq's
deputy prime minister was visiting the
Pentagon.

He says Iraq will ultimately have
to take control of their own security.

Duane "Dog" Chapman, was arrested in
Hawaii on Thursday along with his son
and an associate.

U-S Marshals say there's an
extradition request from the Mexican
Government.

That request relates to the
capture of fugitive Andrew Luster in
2003.

Chapman caught Luster in Mexico
and brought him to California to face a
rape sentence.

Bounty Hunting is a crime in
Mexico.

At the time, the Chapmans were
charged by Mexican authorities with
illegally capturing Luster.
