dollars for breaking a lease.

Gables Shopping Center along South Main
Street which Kroger bought last year.

That's when the Y-M-C-A board
chair says Kroger representatives told
her the lease would probably NOT be
renewed at the reduced rate they were
used to.

So they moved.

Now, Lesko says Kroger officials
are demanding the Y-M-C-A finish out
their lease by paying all of their rent
through February.

That would be a payment of 30-
thousand dollars.

firefighters got a call to what sounded
like an explosion inside the Parker
Powertrain plant on Mayflower Drive.

Authorities say a malfunction in
an industrial oven caused a fireball
that spread to two other machines.

Between the sprinkler system and
firefighters, it was under control in
about ten minutes.

Three employees were sent to the
hospital to be checked for smoke
inhalation and more than 100 others
were sent home for the day.

looking for intruders who assaulted a
man in his home on Monday night.

18-year-old Brian Shantaye Martin
was discovered in his home by a
relative on Tuesday afternoon with
injuries to his face and hands and was
taken to the hospital.

His home appeared to have been
ransacked and more than two-hundred
dollars in cash and electronic
equipment were stolen. Police say there
was no sign of forced entry.

Due to his condition, Martin has
been unable to speak with authorities.

the hospital.

Around 9:30 yesterday morning,
firefighters got a call to what sounded
like an explosion inside the Parker
Powertrain plant on Mayflower Drive.

Authorities say a malfunction in
an industrial oven caused a fireball
that spread to two other machines.

Between the sprinkler system and
firefighters, it was under control in
about ten minutes.

Three employees were sent to the
hospital to be checked for smoke
inhalation and more than 100 others

were sent home for the day.

have to pay nine thousand five hundred
dollars down for the original 25
thousand dollar penalty.

If it pays the fine, Mango's
would lose its ABC license for seven
days.

The restaurant has 30 days to
appeal the board's decision.
