in your refrigerator, the federal
government says you should NOT eat it.
ENG#=1 VO-NAT
VO-NAT Health officials say raw, packaged
spinach is likely the source of an E.
coli outbreak that has killed at least
one person and made at least 60 others
people sick.
Authorities say that even washing
wouldn't solve the problem, because the
bacteria attaches too tightly to the
plant.
E. coli causes severe diarrhea.
Most healthy adults can recover
completely within a week. But some
people, particularly the very young and
old can develop a form of kidney
failure that often
leads to death.

Weighing in at 14 pounds and 13
ounces, this newborn is the biggest
baby ever delivered at that hospital.
His mother thought her baby would
weigh between 10 and 11 pounds.
Not only did she have to replace
the carseat, she had to return all the
diapers and clothes she had previously
purchased.
The three-day-old boy is already
wearing clothes meant for a
nine-month-old.
