amendment, but it's no honeymoon in

from a burning apartment in
Christiansburg about nine months ago..
You might remember it...a police
officer busted in and rescued them..
But yesterday afternoon 22-year-old

something else.

interrogators must have protection from
war crimes charges as they question

record straight about its lease with
the YMCA in Blacksburg.

Wednesday In a story on News-7 this week,
Y-leaders said they're upset they have
to pay nearly 30-thousand dollars to
break their lease with the store at the
Gables Shopping Center.
Kroger officials say when a
tenant leaves a space early, the tenant
is obligated to pay up ... and add the
company's already going out of its way
to help.
Kroger has adjusted the Y's
payment from nearly 57-thousand dollars
to 30-thousand dollars.

Store officials say they were
unable to make a profit at what is one
of their oldest and smallest stores in
the Mid-Atlantic.
The store employs about 45

Vitamin D tablets, show they could hold
some promise.
Researchers looked back at the
long-term health surveys of more than
122-thousand men and women. They found
that those who consumed 400
International Units of Vitamin D daily

A jury yesterday convicted Michael

amendment. Bob McDonnell says the
amendment- which defines marriage as a
union between one man and one woman-
would not have any unintended
consequences for unmarried Virginians.
But opponents aren't convinced.
