made their way to Virginia.

Last night state health officials
confirmed a single case of e-coli. But
they did not release any more details.

The F-D-A has issued a nationwide
warning to consumers not to eat bagged
or any fresh spinach because of
possible contamination.

Officials believe they may have found
the source of the e-coli outbreak.. a
farm in San Bernito County California.

The name of the spinach grower is
"Earthbound Farms".

Government investigators say they are

warning by clearing spinach from their
shelves.

all fresh spinach products as a
precaution.

That included supplies in the
produce section, and some prepared
foods like pizza that feature fresh
spinach as an ingredient.

Customers turned to other greens for
their salads.

store shelves and salad bars.

The company is offering refunds for
customers who wish to return spinach
bought in their stores.

And the grocery chain says it will
follow the FDA's guidance as more
information becomes available.

Virginia gas prices could drop below
two dollars a gallon by Thanksgiving.

Triple-A cites a leading analyst
for the Oil Price Information Service
who predicts... prices beginning with

condition after being shot by a
Tazewell County sheriff's deputy.

Police say 18-year-old Timothy
Stroupe was shot Thursday after
approaching Deputy Ronnie Alley with a
machete.

Police received a call Thursday
night about Stroupe, who was
threatening people in the neighborhood
with his machete.

Stroupe was airlifted to Carilion
Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Alley is a two-year veteran.

He was placed on administrative
leave pending a state police
investigation.

are trying to figure out who stole
explosives from a state prison
construction site in Tazewell County.

Bizzack (Bizz-ack) Incorporated

jobsite.

A deputy says workers discovered
last week that someone broke into a
storage container and took an
undisclosed amount of two different
types of explosives.

That's all that was taken.

Investigators say the material
could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

little league baseball coach in
Colorado Springs is alive after he was
struck by lightning two months ago.

coaching his 9 year old son's baseball

U-N peacekeeping force in Southern
Lebanon.

morning to join an advance detachment
already in the region. Spain has now
brought in around 600 troops but plans
to up the number to around 11-hundred
in coming weeks.

protesters took to the streets in
Indonesia this morning demanding Israel
