Besides the 7-embezzlement
charges against her, she has
convictions in two other Virginia
courts.

Now's she's accused of stealing
thousands from them in just 7 months.

According to court documents Palmer
stole thousands of dollars a month
between January and July.

But this is not the first time she's
been accused of stealing.

In 2003 she was convicted of felony
grand larceny in Henrico County for
shoplifting at a JCPenny. A judge gave
her a year in prison, but suspended the
entire sentence.

A year later she served jail time for
misdemeanor petit larceny in Roanoke
City.

According to court records she was
caught shoplifting at the Valley View
Walmart. She spent four days in jail
and was banned for life from the Valley

pretenses.

She is out of jail on 5-thousand
dollars bond.

Rachel, what about the agency? What are
folks their saying about her arrest?

RACHEL ANSWER: Not much K/J, They say
they are just as much in the dark as
everyone else. They're waiting to see
how this all plays out in court.

But they do want folks to know,
the agency itself is still open and
serving the community.

plants in our area has filed for
bankruptcy... but that could actually
mean hundreds of more jobs here.

The Rowe Companies filed for
Chapter 11 protection yesterday.

there but in the meantime the city will
turn the site into multipurpose fields.

In May, the shelter started a

In three games Virginia has used
three different quartebacks - and none
has distinguished himself.

Georgia Tech is coming up on
Thursday night in Atlanta and the
Virginia quarterbacks openly admit they
aren't exactly full of confidence - and
that they are spending way too much
time looking over their shoulders.
