his first court appearance in Ohio
today.

At the same time, police are
investigating child molestation
accusations in Blacksburg.

Jonathan Utin YOU-tin appeared briefly
in Middletown Municipal Court this
morning.

Ohio authorities told the court Utin
"repeatedly has sex" with a young girl
during Utin's visits with the girl's
family at Christmas and at other times.

Though he's charged with sexually
molesting a 12-year-old girl in
December of 2001, the detective also
testified about Utin's sexual contact
with a girl between the times that
victim was five and nine.

The prosecutor asked the court to set
bond at 500-thousand dollars.

for a day, to give him time to find a
lawyer.

they started their own investigation of
Utin last week.

The chief says others came
forward before this story broke and
they are looking into the allegations.

Investigators say they will most
likely file LOCAL charges against Utin
in the next few weeks.

molesting several other children over a
30-year period.

That prompted a police search of
Utin's Blacksburg home on Tuesday.

NO SUPER took several items, including two
computers, a hard drive and disks.

They also confiscated photos and
photo albums...

slides and VHS tapes... notes and
letters....
