bandage on his head.
Ohio Police say Utin tried to
commit suicide by jumping off a sink in
his cell, and purposely hitting his
head on a metal bed post.
Utin is scheduled to appear in
court again September 28th, for a
pre-trial hearing.

in Radford, was convicted just last
year for his part in the execution
style killing of a family in West
Virginia.
James Reginald Jones was in court
this morning to get an attorney.

killing 39 year old Ken Henry in July.
The shooting happened at his
girlfriend's apartment on Davis Street
in Radford.
Last October he was convicted by
a West Virginia jury of involuntary
manslaughter.
He was sentenced to a year in
jail, but got out a day after the trial
for time already served.

After years of delays, Bob Shell
has a new trial date tonight.
The well known Radford
photographer is charged in connection
with the 2003 death of this model and
girlfriend, 19 year old Marion Franklin
.
He's accused of supplying a
lethal dose of morphine to Franklin,
and of violating her corpse.
Shell was supposed to go on trial
last week, but his attorney had to drop
out because of an undisclosed medical
condition.
His NEW attorney, Independence
lawyer Jonathan Venzie, took over this
morning.
Shell's trial is set for April
30th and is expected to last two weeks.

boat.
A couple of students took an old
bayliner speed boat and gave it a total
hokie makeover.
They repainted it in hokie colors,
installed maroon carpeting, and even
put in hokie leather seats.
The transformation took more than a
year and half and cost get this, eight
thousand dollars.
But you don't need to go to the lake
to see the boat, all you have to do is
go to a Hokie game.
The students use it at tailgating
parties.

the say they're taking drug dealers off
the streets.
39 people were rounded up today on
about 100 charges. Police say these
folks are dealers from Radford,
Pulaski, Dublin and Pulaski County and
they are dealing crack, cocaine, meth
and prescription drugs. State Police
says getting the dealers off the
streets is a big help.

credit- card fraud.
They've released surveillance
photos of individuals they believe may
be involved.

Interagency Wild Land Fire Academy.

its Roanoke hospitals is getting
closer.

expand Roanoke Memorial will be

the South Tower. Four of them will
house Women's and Children services.
But more work is still needed to
