GRAPHIC=FFE Good evening everybody and

welcome to yet another jam packed
edition of Friday Football Extra.

Tonight marks week five of the
season and that means for some schools
like Gretna - the regular season
already is halfway over.

We're going to kick out the
highlights of 14 games for in the next
30 plus minutes, plus we'll meet two
players of the week tonight and get
another person qualified in the Dr.
Pepper ACC championship game fan
giveaway contest.
GRAPHIC=SALEM/NORTHSIDE

But first we begin tonight with a
team knows nothing but winning.

The Salem Spartans were back home
at Salem Stadium tonight looking for
the program's 26th straight victory.

Tonight, the Spartans entertained
their good friends from North County -
the Northside Vikings.

Northside vs. Salem The Spartans were looking to
:00 knock some heads tonight as the Salem
Nation was doing it's part to help keep
that streak alive.

On the first play from scrimmage,
Salem's Nick Charles sacks Ben Beckner
and that would set the tone for the
rest of the first half and the game.

After a three and out, Salem
would take over and Mark Hanabury hits
Matt Demole for the 11 yard touchdown.
The quick score puts the homeboys in
front 7-to-nothing in the first.

After another fruitless Viking
drive, the Spartans work the ground
attack with Aaron Anderson, but watch
Rick Flores floor him with the wicked
hit for a two yard loss.

Salem would get off the mat and
regain the momentum - as Brandon *CG ffefinal Northside Grigsby walked in around the end to the 0 painted grass. When you get there they Salem give you a touchdown and Salem got a 35 bunch of those - rolling to the 35 to

Last Friday night,
Blacksburg played its second double

overtime game of the season. The
Bruins knocked off William Fleming
thanks to some double trouble in the
form of the "Keys" cousins - Greg and
Latrell

GO TO LATRELL FULL As you can see in the Heiner's slice of
life, Latrell is all athlete. He's a
pizza lover whose favorite class in PE.
He idolizes Barry Sanders and loves
Friday Night Lights. GO TO GREG FULL

Greg prefers his grandmother's
Mac and Cheese on the table with L'il
Wayne on the stereo. He's also into
Art and patterns his game after Terrell

LATRELL KEYS/FFE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Cousin Greg victimized Colonels
quarterback DeAndre Mumford for three
interceptions, including the clincher
on Fleming's second play of double
overtime, setting up the game winning
field goal in a 24-21 win.

GREG KEYS/FFE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Both juniors, Greg and Latrell are
keeping it all in the family, as they
try to help the Bruins rebound from a 2
and 8 campaign a season ago. And these
cousins are buzzin' when asked about
playing with one another.

LATRELL:

GREG:

The Bruins keys to victory are two of a
kind. Their enthusiasm is unmatched
and their work ethic contagious.

DAVE CRIST/BLACKSBURG HEAD COACH:

TRAVIS WELLS: The apples don't fall
too far from the tree. Greg's dad,
Greg, Sr. played at Blacksburg and at
Tech. Greg, Junior wears the number 43
in his honor. Travis Wells, Friday
