GRAPHIC=FFE Good evening everybody and
welcome to yet another jam packed
edition of Friday Football Extra.
Tonight marks week five of the
season and that means for some schools
like Gretna - the regular season
already is halfway over.
We're going to kick out the
highlights of 14 games for in the next
30 plus minutes, plus we'll meet two
players of the week tonight and get
another person qualified in the Dr.

rest of the first half and the game.
After a three and out, Salem
would take over and Mark Hanabury hits
Matt Demole for the 11 yard touchdown.
The quick score puts the homeboys in
front 7-to-nothing in the first.
After another fruitless Viking

attack with Aaron Anderson, but watch
Rick Flores floor him with the wicked
hit for a two yard loss.
Salem would get off the mat and
regain the momentum - as Brandon

against William Fleming, none bigger

the second play of the third quarter to

21-nothing cushion.
LATRELL KEYS/FFE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Cousin Greg victimized Colonels
quarterback DeAndre Mumford for three
interceptions, including the clincher
on Fleming's second play of double
overtime, setting up the game winning
field goal in a 24-21 win.
GREG KEYS/FFE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Both juniors, Greg and Latrell are
keeping it all in the family, as they
try to help the Bruins rebound from a 2
and 8 campaign a season ago. And these
cousins are buzzin' when asked about
playing with one another.
LATRELL:
GREG:
The Bruins keys to victory are two of a
kind. Their enthusiasm is unmatched
and their work ethic contagious.
DAVE CRIST/BLACKSBURG HEAD COACH:
TRAVIS WELLS: The apples don't fall
too far from the tree. Greg's dad,
Greg, Sr. played at Blacksburg and at
Tech. Greg, Junior wears the number 43
