morning.

University instructor whose goal is to
develop a for-profit school where
students focus on critical thinking and

searching for a place to start their
school, and they now have a contract on
the Merritt Hutchinson estate near
Lynch Station in southwestern Campbell
County.
The 1100-acre property was
developed five years ago by New York
real estate mogul Anne Hutchinson who
had envisioned it as a high-end, luxury
corporate retreat.
The resort never materialized, and
it's been listed for sale with a
12-million dollar price tag.
Hull and his partners say the site
... complete with living quarters for
the student population ... is perfect
for their needs.
Founders College already has been
given degree-granting status by the
state ... they figure on enrolling
about 140 students when the school
opens in the fall of 2007.

our region. Gas prices have dropped
nearly 50-cents in just the last month.

This Season Head coach Frank Beamer announced
:00 today that Junior Wide Receiver Josh
Morgan - the man who already has
blocked two kicks this season has been
suspended for the Ga. Tech game after
his arrest early Sunday morning.
Police charged Morgan with disorderly
conduct and resisting arrest.
Defensive end Chris Ellis also
was involved in the incident on Draper
Road according to police, who say he
tried to incite a crowd to stop
Morgan's arrest and was taken in for
obstructing justice.
Morgan has 10 catches and 2
Touchdown Catches so far this year, and
his dismissal will be doubly tough
considering that flanker David Clowney
is still recovering from the emergency
apendectomy he had last Thursday.
Ellis' arrest and suspension are
especially disapointing for Tech fans
in that he was warned in the off-season
to clean up his on-the-field behavior.

week's Big South honors that were
announced this afternoon.
Tailback Rashad Jennings has been
named the league's offensive player of
the week. The Forest native rushed for
194 yards and three TDs in Liberty's
blowout win over Savannah State.
Plus, Chris Rocco, is the
freshman of the week in the conference.
Also a Forest native, he had four
tackles in his first career start for
the Flames.
